1. What is Domain Name?
Domain Name (called Domain) consists of numeric characters (0….9) and letters (a,b,c…), used to name specific computers on the internet. (Ect: Web Server or Mail Server). Users can type a name, such as www.nhatviet.vn or yahoo.com … to replace for any numbers. For example 192.168.1.30. Users can connect with the Internet to find a website or send to an email with a friendly name (www.nhatviet.vn) without remembering any comlicated numbers.

2. Who manages domain?
- - International domains (*.com, *.org, …) and the first class national domains are managed by Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN).
- - National domains are managed by representative organization of country. Vietnamese Domains are managed by VNNIC Centre. You can view at www.vnnic.net.vn.http://www.vnnic.net.vn/
Customers who register domains have full power to own them.
3. Kinds of Domains
Domains are divided into 2 highest levels: International and National Domain.
- - International domains have the last part: com, net, org, biz, info, … (Ex: companyname.com, companynamvn.org)
- - National Domains have that nation’s symbol in the last part. It is assigned by ICANN. There are level 2 ** or lever 3 *** domain under the national domain. (.com.vn, .edu.vn,..)

4. What is domain registration?
Domain registration is a way to keep any domains and no one can re-register your domain. You can also sell or rent/lease it.
5. Why do we register domain?
Registration of a domain for doing business, advertising, promoting trade name, buying, selling or renting
6. How is its cost? Are there any expenses?
National domain has specific regulation for each country. For internation domain, the registration cost is depend on each supplier. If you register domain name at Nhatviet.vn, its cost is $8.5/year.

7. When can we use registered domain?
Depend on the service supplier, a domain can be used within 24 - 27 hours after on in most cases. After registration, you need to rent space on the internet server to save your website. For reference of renting host computer price with hight qualify, you can view at www.nhatviet.vn
8. Period of domain registration
Domain canbe registered with a period of time from1 to 10 year. When it is expired, owners to re-registered domain, if not that domain will be invisible.
9. My domain is expired, can I re-register it ?
If your domain is expired less than 30 days, we can extend time for you to use, You will have to wait 45 days from the expiration date to re-register if you want to register in other place.
10. When will I have to extend period of domain?
3 months before expiration date, you will erceive a notice of expiration. At that time, you can extend domain
11. How is extension's cost?
Normally, it is the registration cost except the world price increases. ( few cases )
12. Can I extend before several of years?
Yes, you can.
13. What can I do on the domain?
You can use all the basic function of the domain: change information on Whois, create server name, Lock/Unlock Domain, email or domain forwarding to any other adderss.
14. Can I change domain supplier after registration?
Yes, you can change domain supplier within 7 day after registration and before expiration
15. What is domain locking?
No one stole your domain or information on Whois if you lose your password
16. My information is public?
Domain onformation is always public over the world and everyone can see.
17. I can move to other place when the domain is going to be expired?
Yes, you can move before expiration date
18. I registered with wrong name, can I cancel it ?
You can't cancel or change another name. You can delete domain name within 3 days after registration. However, you have to pay $4.0 to delete
19. Others can register my domain?
Whois see your information so no one can register your domain
20. Can I register many extended domain with the same name? (ten.com ten.org ten.ws ,...)?
You can sign up as you like if that name has not registerd.
21. You domain can be all numeric ( 12345.com, 34733.net... )?
You can register domain with numeric characters 0...9 or letters a - z and diacitc - regardless lower case or upper case
22. What is DNS?
DNS is a abbreviation of “Domain Name Server”. It means when you type domain name in the browser, domain name server sent to an IP address, that computer will know and search a website.
23. I have just registered domain but Whois doesn’t see my information. What can I do?
Whois updates your information within 24- 72 hours from registration. If not, please contact us for processing.
24. What is ICANN ?
ICANN is a place to manage all of international domains. For further information, please view at http://www.icann.org.
25. What IP?
IP is a number to name a computer to conntect with the Internet. For example, IP 203.126.56.173. Domain can use IP to set website.
26. What domain is reasonable?
You should choose a short name, easy to remember and implies to your website content or strong business field
27. What extended domains can I register?
You can register any extended domains. However, .com .net, .org, .info, .biz, và .us are the most popular.

- us – Americans or US companies

28. What URL?
URL is a abbreviation of Universal Resource Locator. It is used to define a website. For example, http://www.nhatviet.vn .
